The options on the Grid tab of the Report Options dialog box include the following.

Headers:
Rows: Determine whether to Merge and/or Lock the row headers on the grid report.
Columns: Determine whether to Merge and/or Lock the column headers on the grid report.
View:
Outline: Select whether to include an outline view of the grid report results. For steps, see Outlining data: Outline Mode.
Show Banding: Select whether to include color banding on the grid report results. For steps, see Applying color banding to a report.
Show attribute form names: Select whether to include attribute form names on the grid report.
Show thresholds: If thresholds have
been enabled for the report, you can select whether to include thresholds.
Note: You must have the appropriate privileges to
enable the Show thresholds setting.
Remove extra column: Determine whether the word "Metrics" is displayed on the report.
Drilling:
Drill options: Select the drilling options where users can drill:
No drilling: Disable drilling. Users cannot drill in any direction.
Drill down only: Users can only drill down from objects on the report. They cannot drill up or across to other objects.
Drill anywhere: Users can drill up, down, and across to any objects available in the drill menu. For steps, see Drilling on a grid report.
Full Screen Mode:
Always open this report in full screen mode: Determine whether the report opens in Full Screen Mode by default. For details, see Maximizing your view of a report: Full Screen mode.
