Importing layouts

You can import the layouts of an existing document into another document. Datasets that are part of the existing document are copied into the target document.

To import layouts

•  

1. Select Import Layout from the Insert menu. The Select a document dialog box opens.

2. Select the document to use, then click Open. You are returned to the Document Editor.

3. The layouts of the selected document are added to the new document. If a layout uses the same name as an existing layout, a number is added to the end of the name, for example, Document (2).
