Creating a Graph visualization

You can add a Graph visualization to a Visual Insight analysis, to display a set of data in a specific type (called a graph style), allowing an analyst to quickly analyze the data in a visual display. MicroStrategy provides a number of graph styles to meet your reporting needs. A graph style is the type of graph, such as vertical area, bubble, and so on.

To display properly, each graph style requires certain types of data. For requirements for each graph style, see Minimum object requirements for each graph style. For an introduction to graph reports and complete details on each graph style available in MicroStrategy, see the Graphing chapter in the MicroStrategy Advanced Reporting Guide.
