Using the Grid/Graph title bar

The title bar of a Grid/Graph allows you to quickly control the display of the Grid/Graph within a document. You can:

The following table contains tasks that you can perform using the Grid/Graph title bar:

View the title of the Grid/Graph control

  1. The title is automatically displayed when a title bar is added to a Grid/Graph. For detailed steps, see Adding and formatting a Grid/Graph title bar.

    Note
    : By default, the title of the Grid/Graph is the same as the grid or graph report displayed in the Grid/Graph.

Quickly access menu options to format and edit the Grid/Graph (for example, sorting and adding subtotals)

  1. Click the Menus button.

  2. Select the desired option from the displayed menu.

    : For more information on the menu options displayed, see Editing a dataset report displayed as a grid.

Minimize the Grid/Graph

  1. Click the Minimize button. The Grid/Graph display is minimized.

Maximize the Grid/Graph

  1. Click the Maximize button. The Grid/Graph display is maximized.

Restore the Grid/Graph to its original size

  1. Click the Restore button. The Grid/Graph display returns to its original size.

Delete the Grid/Graph from the document

  1. Click the Delete button. A dialog box is displayed asking for confirmation to delete the Grid/Graph.

  2. Click OK to close the dialog box. The Grid/Graph is deleted from the document.

Examine the underlying dataset report contained in the Grid/Graph

  1. Click the Zoom In icon to open the dataset report.

    : You can click the Back button Back button in the top left to return to the document.
