Welcome to MicroStrategy Web Help. This online help includes information on the windows you see and the steps you perform when logging in to MicroStrategy Web, navigating through folders and other objects, and running, creating, and formatting reports and Report Services documents.

Access to functionality: Permissions and privileges

Depending on your MicroStrategy privileges, you may not have access to all of the features described in this Help.

When you log in to a project using your MicroStrategy user name and password, Intelligence Server checks your security privileges. For example, you may have the privilege to run a report and sort the data on it, but not the privileges to create a report or document or permanently remove objects from a report grid.

If you have any questions about functionality or report results, contact your MicroStrategy administrator.
