Using a Transaction Services-enabled document to update data

Once a designer creates a Transaction Services-enabled document to allow you to approve requests, track business activity, and execute business decisions, you can perform these tasks directly from the document. You can use the document to interact with the data in Express Mode in Web, and when viewed on an iPhone or iPad with MicroStrategy Mobile.

Using a Transaction Services-enabled document to update data

  1. Open the document in Express Mode.

  2. Click the text field or grid cell of the value you want to edit, then do one of the following:

  3. If the designer has created the document to allow you to select individual rows of data in a grid to submit, click the Mark Rows icon at the top left of the grid. A check box is displayed next to each row of data in the document. Select the check box for each row of data you want to submit.

    : Different action selector buttons or links may be available depending on how the designer has created the document. The names of the submit, recalculate, and discard buttons or links may change depending on how the designer has defined them.
