Changing your password

You can change your password at any time, if your administrator has given you the necessary privileges to do so.

To change your password

•  

1. Select Preferences at the top of the page. The Preferences page opens. On the left, click Change password.

2. Provide the necessary information in the following order:

• Old password: Enter the old password (the password you are changing).

• New password: Enter the new password.

• New password verification: Enter the new password again (to ensure you have entered the new password correctly).

3. Click Change Password to apply your changes. The new password will be active the next time you log into MicroStrategy Web.
